Good news for 90s Nike Basketball fans, the Nike Air More Uptempo Black / White is set to return in 2016. For those that are familiar with the model, the black and white color theme is an original release.
Most will remember the moments of Jordan from the greatest NBA record ever which took place during the 1995-96 season. Jordan Brand is releasing the 72-10 model for that season, but what some don’t know is that Scottie Pippen wore the Air More Uptempo shown here during the same season.
Using a black nubuck through the upper and midsole, white comes in detailing the branding. As you can see, the swoosh on the toe box and by the heel is done in white, while the large ‘AIR’ is outlined in the same shade. They are then finished off with a full length air unit.
